Welcome to #SoulTies 15. In this session, we look at our human composition of Spirit, Soul & Body. We see how they were affected by the fall of Adam in the garden of Eden and how the salvation package recreated our spirits as believers. However, we were left with an assignment which is to present our minds to God’s Word for renewal in order for us to express the life of God in our new spirits.

1. Good evening y’all. #SoulTies 15 starts now. Hope you all had a great Christmas & New Year celebration.
2. I want to state that we are not here to condemn anyone or stigmatize anyone who has repeatedly fallen into sin due to #SoulTies
3. We are here to expose #SoulTies as the works of the enemy that the blood of Jesus has been shed to purge us from.
4. I also want to say that this isn’t a motivational broadcast but the gospel of Jesus Christ. #SoulTies
5. We are looking at this from the standard of the Word of God and no less. No compromise. #SoulTies
6. The flesh finds the Word and the Spirit of God unbearable but we cannot dilute the message. #SoulTies

14. Today, we are doing a recap of our definition of #SoulTies and we start looking at other entry points apart from sex.
15. First we start by reminding ourselves that we comprise of spirit, soul and body according to 1 Thes 5:23 #SoulTies
16. When Adam sinned in garden of Eden, at least 3 things happened to him. First his spirit was alienated from God. #SoulTies
17. Next his mind got injected with the mindset of satan. Then his body became subject to sickness & death. #SoulTies
18. Every human being born of man & woman inherited all three sick components from Adam. #SoulTies
19. Your being born in any church or your membership of any church did not exempt you from d adamic nature. #SoulTies
20. Everyone was born a sinner irrespective of d church their parents attended or religion they professed. #SoulTies
21. While growing up, satan did a thorough job of building wrong affections for things & people in our souls. #SoulTies
22. Your soul comprises your mind, your will & your emotions. How u think, what you want & how you feel. #SoulTies
23. #SoulTies are therefore emotional links that tie you down like a leashed dog to something or someone else.
24. These #SoulTies restrict you from moving freely into your destiny. An example is Samson.
25. Samson was soul-tied like a leashed dog to Delilah and the link was sexual experience with her. #SoulTies
26. Salvation came through Jesus Christ & it was designed as a total package for our spirits, souls & bodies. #SoulTies
27. Salvation affected our spirits as soon as we received Jesus into our hearts according to 2 Cor 5:17 #SoulTies
28. However, salvation did not have an immediate effect on our souls and this is how we know. #SoulTies
29. Prov. 23:7 says as a man thinketh in his heart so is he. Your life is a product of what you think. #SoulTies
30. You are not different from what you think. What you think is what you fill your mind with and that’s what you do. #SoulTies
31. You can’t fill your mind with porn all evening and want to hold a bible study when you see women. #SoulTies
32. Most rapists and child predators were also found to be porn addicts. If your date loves porn, trouble is around you. #SoulTies
33. Even after you get saved, God expects you to reprogram your mind with His Word & thoughts in line with Rom 12:2 #SoulTies
34. Until you renew your mind with His Word, you retain the #SoulTies you built in satan’s kingdom while in God’s kingdom.
35. These #SoulTies then make you behave exactly the same way unsaved people behave while being saved.
36. #SoulTies explain why saved men or operatives in church behave like unsaved men. It’s cos their minds are not renewed.
37. Churches that don’t emphasise the Word come short here. Prayer & oil alone cannot renew your mind. There has to be d Word. #SoulTies
38. Only the Word of God mixed with prayers can renew your mind and rid your soul completely of those satanic #SoulTies.
39. Psalms 119:9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. #SoulTies
40. Psalms 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. #SoulTies
41. It’s time for the church to start focussing on mind renewal with God’s Word so we can stop breeding #SoulTies ridden saints.
42. Sisters, don’t be fooled by a brother serving tables in church. Check contents of his mind before u get sucked in. #SoulTies
43. Brothers, don’t get fooled by the sister in the choir with a silky voice. Ascertain her mind before u get sucked in. #SoulTies
44. It is EXTREMELY dangerous to trust your marital future to a man or a woman who is not doggedly committed to God’s Word. #SoulTies
45. More Word leads to less #SoulTies. Less Word leads to retained and added #SoulTies.
46. Lastly, we want to refine our definition of #SoulTies very slightly. There are good and bad #SoulTies. Let’s have a look.
47. There are good #SoulTies like the ones you have with your parents, family, spouse etc
48. These good #SoulTies are ok when they don’t leash you to a point where you can’t fulfil your God-given destiny.

50. Bad #SoulTies are technically sin. They stunt and stifle your spiritual life when you keep practicing them.
51. So far we have majored on #SoulTies created and nurtured through illicit sexual activity.
52. Also, Sinful #SoulTies can be created through prolonged verbal contact made with the wrong crowd.
53. In the coming weeks, we will be looking at these other #SoulTies created through prolonged verbal contact.
54. #SoulTies created through prolonged verbal contacts and commitments can also sink and wreck you.
55. These other #SoulTies are very subtle but they have the potential to getting you into nasty situations.
56. These #SoulTies don’t explicitly start as sexual but they have d potential of landing u in illicit sex or even in #Rape situations.
